Job Description:

We are seeking a results-driven finance professional to lead and support comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities of a multi-site international business unit. This role serves as a key business partner to senior leadership overseeing financial consolidation, operational reviews, strategic planning, and compliance with corporate financial requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions to drive business results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of annual financial business plans, strategic plans, and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including consolidations across multiple entities.
  • Oversee and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes across departments and business units.
  • Perform detailed financial studies and analyses, including:
  • Headcount, expense, overhead, and capital expenditure analysis
  • Variance analysis (actual vs. forecast, plan and prior year)
  • Revenue, profit, working capital and cash flow forecasting
  • Risk and opportunity assessments
  • Cost structure, rate modeling, and indirect rate analysis
  • Lead monthly Business Review consolidations.
  • Develop, standardize, and automate financial reporting tools, including database alignment and system improvements (e.g. Visual to SAP BPC integration).
  • Provide actionable insights, recommendations, and corrective action plans to support leadership decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Program Management, Business Development, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Prepare and submit corporate reports as required.
  • Actively shape financial processes with a continuous improvement mindset.

    Education And Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required with a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in financial planning, corporate accounting, reporting, and forecasting, preferably in an aerospace and defense manufacturing environment or Graduate Degree with a minimum of years of 4 years progressive experience as listed above.
  • Knowledge of indirect rate development, rate variance analysis, and EAC processes.
  • Experience with government contracts (CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, T&M, FFP) and related financial management practices.
  • Proven track record of working independently while maintaining consistent communication with senior management.

    Preferred Skills And Abilities:
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively present financial information to leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and financial systems such as:
  • SAP BPC
  • Visual Finance Systems
  • Ability to proactively identify issues, solve problems, and implement process improvements.
