Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist / Programmer with hands-on experience in brass and aluminum component manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible producing machined parts by setting up, operating and programming CNC vertical mills and maintaining quality and safety standards.
    Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis vertical mills using Autodesk/FeatureCam software.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for brass and aluminum.
  • Maintain organized records of all programs, setups, tooling lists, and process improvements.
  • Operate CNC Vertical mills – including program, setup and running operations. (Haas, Milltronics, Bridgeport, Mitsubishi)
  • Set-up and prove out new programs on CNC equipment including Pluritec: make and document on-the-fly adjustments as needed.
  • Maintaining CNC programs to produce high-quality precision parts while maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems during the machining process.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and CAD models to determine machining requirements and sequence of operations.
  • Work collaboratively with machinist, engineers, and quality control teams to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
  • Continuously assess and recommend machining improvements for cycle time reduction and process efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Document quality data and report non-conformities.
  • Use standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gages.
